Michelle Clementine is a camerawoman who pulls from her immigrant roots to tell universal tales. 

Her career in film began with an internship at TriBeCa Film Festival in 2005. The Bronx native joined IATSE Local 600 Camera Guild in 2010. In 2018, Clementine was part of the inaugural Cinematography Intensive for Women at American Film Institute that brought her to LA and pushed her to start camera operating. and began shooting a slate narrative films and television shows. 

Michelle has been a leader for women in camera, teaching free workshops in LA & New York, helping build community-led camera groups like 600 Black Women and becoming one of the chairwomen for Local 600’s Women’s Committee West.

With experience in Oscar winning feature films, documentaries, commercials and music videos, Michelle has a practical approach to filmmaking that enhances the creative flow. Her film projects show an appreciation for heightened realism, leaning into echoes of old Hollywood glamour. Michelle works in Los Angeles, New York City and Tokyo.
